Release the rats........

This idea was born from the police collection which I started some while ago with the standard epaulet whereby the officers had there warrant numbers engraved on the tie pin shaped as an epaulet. These generated a lot of interest and got me thinking of the other departments in the Police services throughout the UK.

The black rat logo is the trade mark of the traffic officer. Many officers now have this logo on their cars as a sticker.

I came up with the black rat idea as this unique silver pin can be worn on a tie (smaller version and the larger one could be worn on a jacket or on the outside of a PPE Stab vest), the rat pin is the latest design of mine and is completely unique, you will not find these anywhere else!!. Each piece has been specially crafted and is finished by hand.

The small rat pin costs £35.00 and the lager style costs £45.00, why not buy the set as once your team have them you won't want to be left behind........

What are conflict diamonds?

If you are a conscious shopper, you will ask more questions when shopping for diamonds that just about the details of the stone. You should inquire if the stones you are admiring with the possibility of purchasing are non-conflict diamonds. The answer you receive should satisfy your mind that these diamonds have not come from a country where the sale of diamonds is used to cause bloodshed and terror for others.

Non-conflict diamonds do not look any different from other diamonds so there is no way you can identify them by looks alone. The appraisal report, whether it is of EGL loose diamonds or from another gemological appraisal facility will not be able to give you the answer either. Conflict diamonds, also called blood diamonds, should be a cause for concern because they come from countries in Africa where they are used to provide financing for wars and military action against innocent people. In some cases, child labor is used in the mining process.

In short rest assured that all the diamonds used in the manufacturing process I supply come from non-conflict sources.....
